We had a customer that was faced with the problem that
there extruded plastic product was a few thousandths over sized and would
not fit with the mating part. We designed a sizing machine that would
feed the parts automatically and index three of them at a time into a heated
die, extruding them to the desired dimension. The machine was very
economical and was able to meet the customer's needs.
