About Packard Inc.

Packard Inc. started out as a small operation in the mid 1970's by John Jones, a tool maker.  His love for automation led him to begin working part time out of a small 1,000 Square foot garage.  By 1978 he quit his full time job and hired a few helpers.  The started by designing automation equipment for the company Harbor Foods.  He designed and built automatic Ice cream cutter, an automatic ice cream sandwich dipper and other various pieces of equipment.  The word quickly spread about John's commitment to customer satisfaction and dedication to his business.  It wasn't long before he out grew the small shop and split the business between the original building and a new 2,000 square foot building.  In 1992 he again outgrew the facility and Built the Current 11,000 Square foot meticulous facility we are in today.
