Conventional Machining

In this day of computerized machine tools, there are still some types of machining jobs that require     the expertise of a skilled machinist to manipulate the wheels and levers of a conventional type machine tool.

Our manual shop is equipped to handle a wide variety machining jobs. From large turning operations down to the smallest milling operation, our skilled craftsmen can expertly meet your manual machining needs.

Our conventional machinists meet essential prototype manufacturing needs and tooling requirements. They bring many years of experience in support of our CNC machining and sheet metal departments. Department supervisors work hand in hand with mechanical engineers to meet our customer's R & D requirements.

Reverse Engineering

Packard Inc's reverse Engineering Service is an asset to customers that need a new part manufactured but only have a physical example of the part without the drawing. We use the latest technology to accurately measure the example part, then using that information we utilize the industry standard AutoCad 2005 software to produce drawings. From those drawings we can then expertly machine precision parts.
